THE COUNTY’S FUTURE IS ‘BRIGHT WITH MIKE’
When I learned that Mike Brosius, a retired Costco executive, filed for Clatsop County Commissioner, District 3, I was thrilled. On May 19, we have the opportunity to elect exciting new energy to our county government. Mike Brosius offers a philosophy rooted in the private sector, meeting payrolls and budgets as a clear alternative to the excesses of a bureaucratically mismanaged welfare agency.
Mike understands and appreciates entrepreneurs and small businesses, and their commitment to put personal dollars at risk to start and build their dreams, resulting in jobs, new energy, paid taxes, and optimism for our historic downtown community.
Storefront owners are welcoming ambassadors to every cruise ship visitor and as such their daily existence needs to be defended from filth, vandalism, and crime. Mike will meet this challenge through collaboration between Clatsop County and the city of Astoria. He will be integral to finding the "light at the end of this tunnel."
Please reward Mike Brosius with your vote. For his vision, for his community volunteerism, for his efforts to address affordable middle housing, and his support for the Clatsop Community College's vocational programs. Let's provide our kids with an economic future in Astoria and Clatsop County.
I LIKE MIKE ... Brosius.
JOHN LANSING
