BROSIUS HAS A ‘GENUINE COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY’

I am proud to endorse Mike Brosius for Clatsop County Commissioner, District 3. Mike understands that public service is about responsibility and stewardship. He is thoughtful, practical, and not afraid to ask tough questions and make difficult decisions.

Mike understands that natural resources are not only an important part of the economy — they are what defines our community. He supports responsible stewardship of our fisheries, forests, and working waterfronts to protect local jobs and preserve community character.

Mike has quietly invested time and energy in organizations that give us strength. He supports Columbia Memorial Hospital because he understands the importance of quality healthcare close to home. His work with the Clatsop County Historical Society, including support for the Oregon Film Museum, demonstrates respect for the role of history in economic development.

Mike has also taken a consistent interest in our schools, most notably in his work with Clatsop Community College. Strong schools help build strong families, and strong families build strong communities. Investing in education is an important part of building a healthy future.

For me, leadership is about getting things done, using good judgment, bringing groups together, and having a genuine commitment to the community. It’s about listening carefully and working thoughtfully to make our community stronger. Clatsop County needs leadership that isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers if it means doing what is right for the long-term future.

Mike Brosius will help move our Clatsop County forward. That is why he has my support.
