BROSIUS WILL SEEK SOLUTIONS FOR OUR COMPLEX ISSUES
Mike Brosius is a community leader. Clatsop County is fortunate that Mike Brosius chose Astoria as his permanent home in retirement. He immediately became engaged in the community, serving on the Liberty Board, Columbia Memorial Hospital Foundation Board, and the Clatsop County Historical Society.
He worked with the college to connect career technical programs with industry to streamline the process to prepare students for family wage jobs. His business acumen and humble personality make him a welcome and effective leader in any group.
I have had the opportunity to work with Mike in cross-generational groups. He listens thoughtfully and refrains from jumping to conclusions or inserting his opinion before all the ideas are on the table. He wants to know all sides of an issue and who and what will be impacted before advocating for change.
He is innovative, and will look for solutions to the complex issues facing the county. He reads extensively, studies issues from all sides and will research best practices. He is an advocate for access to safe, affordable housing, food security and family wage jobs.
But most of all, what I appreciate in Mike is that he is a man of integrity and heart. He is reliable, will always be prepared, and truly cares about making the world a better place. A vote for Mike for Clatsop County commissioner is a vote for the future of Clatsop County.
